MOTOR SPORTS TRAVEL TICKET-ONLY BOOKING CONDITIONS
These terms and conditions (the “Booking Conditions“) apply to your ticket-only booking. If there is anything within these Booking Conditions that you do not understand, then please contact us to discuss what this means for you.
Your booking with MST will be governed by English law and any disputes in connection with it will be dealt with in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Northern Ireland or Scotland, the courts of Northern Ireland or Scotland (as appropriate), can deal with any disputes.
Motor sport events can be dangerous, and MST cannot accept responsibility for any injury, loss, damage or cost as a result of attending the race meeting. In purchasing a race ticket, you and your party acknowledge and accept that motor racing, the race and certain activities associated therewith (including without limitation, support races) are dangerous and accidents can happen and that there is a possibility of an accident causing injury, death, property damage or loss, and accordingly, ticket holders attending the race do so at their own risk. All ticket holders acknowledge the risks associated with attending or participating in the race include but are not limited to the risk of suffering harm as a result of motor vehicles (or parts of them) colliding with other motor vehicles, persons or property. All spectators are advised that attending the race may involve danger and risk to their personal safety, and that they are responsible for all children under their care. You attend at your own risk, and any disputes must be taken up with the event organiser.
MST gives no warranty (whether expressed or implied under statute or otherwise) that the race shall take place at the time and place stipulated or at all and all conditions (whether expressed or implied, whether under statute or otherwise) in respect thereof are excluded. All race tickets are subject to the terms and conditions of the individual circuit and race organisers, and MST shall not be liable to give any refund or compensation to the ticket purchaser or ticket holder if the race is delayed, postponed or cancelled by the event organiser. Please contact us if you require a copy of the supplier terms & conditions that apply to the race(s) you are attending.
Ticket-only bookings are payable in full at the time of booking, and are both non-amendable and non-refundable.
If the race goes ahead but there are travel restrictions in place that prevent you from travelling, there will be no refund for ticket-only bookings.
If the race is cancelled or confirmed as being held behind closed doors, a refund in accordance with the circuit’s terms & conditions will apply – this means it will be subject to their terms and conditions and their admin fees and, should they confirm a refund is permitted, it will be according to their timetable of refunding, which may not be immediate. We will only refund on receipt of a refund from the circuit, and to the amount received from the circuit.
Should the race date change, your ticket(s) will automatically be transferred to the new date.
Ticket-only bookings do not grant you access to MST circuit transfers or any other components of MST travel packages.
We usually receive race tickets from the circuits 2-3 weeks before the race weekend, and the format of your tickets will be confirmed in your booking confirmation email.
If your race tickets are in e-ticket format, then we will email them to the email address on your booking confirmation on receipt. E-tickets must be printed off before travel and taken with you to the circuit.
If your tickets are in printed format, we will send them to you by Royal Mail Special Delivery on receipt – these will require a signature on delivery and will be sent to the address on your booking confirmation documents. Unfortunately we are not able to dispatch tickets on specific days, however if you’re not in to receive the delivery, the postman/lady should leave a calling card with details for redelivery and/or collection, or you can rearrange delivery online on the Royal Mail website using the reference we will email to you when your tickets are dispatched.
If your address is outside of the UK, then there may be additional courier charges, which we will confirm before sending.
Sometimes tickets can be for collection at the circuit, particularly if you are booking close to the race weekend. If this is the case, we will provide you with a ticket collection letter and full instructions of where and when to collect the tickets – you will need your ticket collection letter and photo ID in order to do so.
If you have booked discounted tickets, such as Junior or Senior tickets, then please ensure you bring photo ID with you to the circuit, as marshals will require it on entry.
