Our Hints & Tips

Security staff may conduct bag checks at the gates and for safety reasons, the following items are prohibited: bags over 20 litre capacity; alcoholic drinks; glass bottles and glass containers; metal containers of any kind; BBQs; restricted and illegal substances; offensive weapons; items that are deemed dangerous, offensive or unsuitable; drones or remote controlled aircraft; step ladders or any similar item which may obstruct another attendees view; lasers; fireworks/pyrotechnics; any item which might be subject to ambush marketing; smoke canisters; tents and shelters; four-wheel carry carts; powered scooters; electric cycles; sun parasols; excessive alcohol.

Each grandstand has its own entrance – the Main Entrance is used for those of you with hospitality tickets or Purple Boxes Grandstand tickets.

For those of you with Yellow Grandstand tickets, follow round anticlockwise from the main entrance to Gate 1, where you can enter.

For those of you with Red Grandstand tickets, follow round anticlockwise from the main entrance until you reach the Red Grandstand entrance gates.

Red Superior tickets are located in the upper section of the Red grandstand.

For those of you with GRANDSTAND TICKETS: When you first enter the circuit you will be given a wristband which will then be used to scan you in and out of the circuit each day. The same wristband is valid for the full three days, so please do not remove it until after you have left the circuit on Sunday.

PIT LANE WALK: The circuit has announced a public pit lane walk on Thursday 23 November. Access is via the gate at ‘Taquillas 1’, which is to the right of the main entrance as you approach the circuit (facing the main entrance). The pit lane walk starts at 17:45, however we recommend arriving earlier as it can get very busy. You will need your ticket for entry.

TRACK INVASION: The track will be opened up after the race, however please be aware that this is limited. Those of you with Purple Boxes grandstand tickets or VIP Terrace hospitality tickets will be able to access the track from fanzone area at the end of the pit building, close to the MotoGP VIP Village.

For those of you with Red Grandstand or Yellow Grandstand tickets, you still have an opportunity to join the track invasion. You have to go through the Circuit shop, under the Yellow Grandstand, and make a minimum purchase of 10 euros with which you will be given a special access ticket. to the runway invasion. For safety reasons, this is limited to the first 500 ticket holders.

We always recommend bringing tissues or wipes and hand sanitiser to all race circuits. The weather in Valencia can be changeable and it is often quite chilly first thing in the morning at the circuit, so we recommend that you bring something warm; ideally layers that you can add and take off as needed. We also always recommend bringing a hat and waterproof, and if you have binoculars, they are a great idea as you can see the majority of the track from all grandstands.

As with all large events, do keep your belongings safe; keep purses and wallets hidden and bags closed, and don’t leave them unattended at any time.

In keeping with Spanish law, no alcohol can be served inside the circuit (the beer on sale is non-alcoholic), although it is served in the hospitality areas. There are usually food tents set up outside the circuit entrance closest to the Yellow Grandstand, which sell food and alcohol.

Visitors are not permitted to make/create/store/record or transmit any sound recording or audio visual footage of the event for any commercial purposes. Personal electronic devices such as mobile phones, cameras or hand held personal communication devices are allowed as long as the images are for private, personal and non commercial use.

PRE-SEASON TESTING: On Monday 27 and Tuesday 28 November the Circuit Ricardo Tormo will host the first pre-season tests of the 2024 MotoGP World Championship. On Monday it will be the turn of the Moto2 and Moto3 riders, where you can see the debut of Masià, Oncü, Sasaki & Moreira in their new Moto2 teams. On Tuesday it will be turn of the MotoGP riders, with the main attraction likely to be Marc Márquez on thee Gresini Racing Ducati.

Tickets will be available at the ticket offices at the circuit, as well as on the circuit website, and will cost €10.00.
